What Is a Constant Flow Regulating Valve

Posted by

Constant flow regulating valve is a kind of sanitary regulating valve that has constant flow function. It is a combination of self-driven pressure difference control device and flow regulation device. Its mechanism: control and stabilize the pressure difference before and after the flow regulation device using pressure difference control device to make the pressure difference before and after the valve bigger than the constant flow start value. The flow that has been through no longer changes with the pressure difference before and after the valve. Within the scope of control by the pressure difference, the flow that has been through certain opening of the valve can automatically remain constant. The change of flow can be achieved simply by regulating the valve opening, regardless of the pressure difference before and after the valve.

Valves of the same mechanism can sometimes be called “dynamic balance valve”, or “self-flow controller”, or “self-flow regulating valve”. They all have certain constant flow functions, but are very different in terms of regulating range, structural size, maintainability, material and price.
