The Differences between Hard Sealing Butterfly Valve and Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve

Posted by

The main differences between pneumatic hard sealing butterfly valve and pneumatic soft sealing butterfly valve include the following:
1. Structural differences. Pneumatic soft sealing butterfly valve is mostly centerline type while pneumatic hard sealing butterfly valve is mostly single eccentric, double eccentric, triple eccentric butterfly valve.
2. Temperature tolerance. Pneumatic soft sealing butterfly valve is used in normal temperature environment while pneumatic hard sealing butterfly valve can be used in low, normal and high temperature environment.
3. Pneumatic soft sealing butterfly valve is used in low pressure and atmospheric pressure environment while pneumatic hard sealing butterfly valve can be used in medium- and high temperature working conditions.
4. Both have a relatively good sealing performance. Pneumatic soft sealing butterfly valve can maintain good sealing performance under high temperature and high pressure environment.

In light of the above-mentioned features, pneumatic soft sealing sanitary butterfly valve is suitable for use in two-way opening and closing and regulating in ventilation and dust removal pipeline, water treatment, light industry, petroleum, chemical and other industries. Pneumatic hard sealing sanitary butterfly valve is mostly used in heating, gas, oil, acid and alkali and other environments.
